Students Aim High for the Future

Our year 13 Level 3 Construction and Engineering students hit the ground running on their first day back at the Studio College after the summer break by attending a UCAS application information session, in preparation for their applications to University.

Our students hold high aspirations in subject areas ranging from architecture, building surveying and electrical/mechanical engineering and design engineering; this complements the Studio College ethos to help every single student to achieve their aspirational choice for the future. Students will be attending visits to a range of Universities throughout the academic year, including Loughborough University which they visited on 15th September. Siraaj said that “the session was really informative and I have found out that I am currently working higher than the grade boundaries required for the Architecture Degree that I want to study”.

Future news stories of the University visits to follow…
